Any Service Award presented, acknowledges and expresses the deepest gratitude for the Adult Volunteer’s outstanding service and dedication to the Movement.

Added to this, it acknowledges their invaluable contribution which has a lasting legacy on both the youth and the community they were – and often still are – involved in. Their commitment to the Scouting principles and values is evident in everything they do daily, and their volunteer service exemplifies the true essence of Scouting!

People can nominate and apply for Service Awards for their peers, or members may apply for a Service Award for themselves directly, giving evidence of their date of investiture and all Groups where they have been active.  The application can be sent directly to ServiceAwards@scouts,org,za
